Wraiths and Strays

Wraiths and Strays is a World of warcraft guild on the Nordrassil-EU server. We are a friendly, multi-national guild, run by a Council of Officers. We enjoy the challenges provided by end-game instances, while ensuring that we keep the guild atmosphere fun and casual.

So it’s not the hardest instance for us now but it’s still a challenge. A really good raid last night clearing all wings other than the 4 horsemen which we didnt have time for. Was a load of fun and we only wiped once across all the wings. We just have to speed things up a little and we’ll be easily clearing it in a single night. Grats all!

It’s been a little while since we did a 25 man Naxx so we went back last night. We had a number of new people with us and still managed to clear 3 wings fairly easily in a single night. A pretty good raid overall. Going back sunday to clear it up and maybe go on to EoE or Flame Leviathan so go sign up

So far we have a 25 man Naxx raid planned for Thursday, and sunday and an *8* man raid to Naxx for the achievments planned for monday. See the raids page to sign up and good luck everyone

Progress has been good in 10 man Ulduar.

We’ve killed 7 bosses so far and nearly killed Hodir too, getting him to about 12%, we’ll have him next time!

it’s going well and a lot of fun.

As you can see we have a new guild website front page. The wiki one was nice but too far too much time and effort to post things to and keep it updated so we’re going with this one instead.

It has a few neat features like on the left there is “Future Raids” section where you can see all the posted raids without having to go to the raid signup page, and clicking on a raid there will take you to the signup page for that raid.

It’s still early days but hopefully it will look good to visitors and also be a useful front page for guild members to visit every day.

I intend to change the image at the top of the page to something a bit less generic when I get the time.

A group of brave W&S went to Molten Core last night to see it again one more time and maybe get the achievement. It proved to be really easy, we cleared it in an hour so we decided to go and see BWL as well.

Most of us had never seen all of BWL so it was good to do the boss fights there even though they were very easy indeed now. We had one wipe on the last boss when we forgot about his special ability but we soon got ou revenge on him and cleared the place.

Grats everyone and thanks for a fun night seening all the old stuff again. Next on the plan, maybe AQ20 and AQ40

The raid tool that you can get to from the link at the top left of this page or the top left of the forums should be working again now. Sorry but you’ll have to re-register there and log in separately. I think it was the boards integration that wasn’t working well before.

In addition there is a summary on this blog on the left (scroll down a bit!) of the upcoming raids and you can go straight to them by clicking on the one that interests you. Please let me know (yarral) if anything doesn’t work right still.

Looks like the server is getting a bit full, it was 50 or so people when I first got on.
I hope this isn’t the first sign of worse to come
